Pyrodex RS can be used in all calibers of percussion muzzleloading rifles and shotguns. It has a wide application of uses and is the most versatile powder in the Pyrodex line. Like all grades of Pyrodex, it burns cleaner and produces less fouling than blackpowder. RS compares to 2F blackpowder on a particle size basis.

These are the “bread-and-butter” of reloading, the most commonly called-for primers in reloading recipes. CCI standard primers are remarkably clean-burning, leaving primer pockets cleaner and extending the time between pocket cleaning. That’s a huge benefit for progressive reloaders. They are more sensitive and easier to seat than older CCI primers, and engineered for smooth feeding in automated equipment.
- Clean-burning initiator compound
- Larger “sweet spot” for guns that produce off-center strikes
- Easier to seat than ever before
- Improved sensitivity for “critical-need” loading

In benchrest competition, there’s no such thing as a group that’s “too small.” Everything has to be tuned to the highest degree to produce match-winning results. That’s why CCI makes Benchrest primers. Only the most experienced skilled personnel put the priming mix in the cups, so you get the same flame, shot after shot. CCI also uses specially selected cups and anvils for added consistency. An independent researcher identified the use of CCI Benchrest primers as one of two factors that were the most significant contributors to tiny groups. We can’t add much to that!
- Incredibly consistent ignition power
- Selected metal parts
- Each primer marked with a “B” for quick identification
- Use the same data as CCI Standard (non-Magnum) primers

- Fastest Loads – loads exceeding 2,300 fps
- High Energy Knockdown – up to an amazing 2,600 foot-pounds of bone crushing force
- Long Range Reach – White Hots allow the most from your rifle
- Flat Shooting – less aim error with distance
- Shot to Shot Consistency – shoot to the same place every shot
- Dependable in Extreme Weather – Deer don’t mind the cold, neither should your powder
- Fastest Reload – patented Pre-Formed charges drop freely down barrel
- No Fuss – why bother with measures and funnels in the woods?
- Easy to Carry Hunt Packs – added convenience, one pack covers a day of hunting
- Clean Burning – forget about cleaning between every shot
- Easy Clean-up – water wet patch removes all residue
- No Strong Smells – so long rotten egg smoke and residue smell
- Not Primer Specific – works with all 209 primers

Blackhorn 209: Blackhorn 209 is the first non-corrosive propellant for muzzleloaders and black powder cartridges. Swabbing between shots or immediate cleaning is not necessary. Blackhorn 209 is not affected by temperature of humidity and cleans with regular solvents. It's noncorrosive and low residue characteristics allows easy breech plug removal. No special primers are required either.

CCI Primers are continuously tested and improved. As a result today's CCI primers are more sensitive, easier to seat and more compatible with progressive and automated loading equipment than ever before. They utilize modern non-corrosive and non-mercuric initiator mixes for the cleanest burn possible.

CCI made the muzzleloading world a lot brighter in 1975 when they introduced their #11 percussion caps. Why? They were non-mercuric, non-corrosive, and darned reliable. They’ve now expanded the line to four popular products. In addition to the #11, there’s the #11M with more power to light off replica black powders. For revolvers with smaller nipples, there’s our #10 cap. And for original and replica muskets and rifles that require large, winged caps, we have the Four Wing Musket Caps. When using any percussion caps for reenactment or demonstration shooting without a powder charge or bullet, only use nipples with a large internal diameter. Standard nipples intended for normal loads can clog when fired repeatedly without a powder charge, potentially causing the cap to fragment. We recommend a minimum internal diameter of 0.050 inch for nipples used without powder charges and bullets. Thoroughly clean nipples and the flame path during firing sessions. Always wear approved shooting glasses when firing any muzzleloading firearm.
